April 1-3, 2011 -- Caraway Conference Center

 Spring Conference '11 – The SC ’11 team, led by Sarah Sanders of UNC-Asheville, is now in its planning process for the weekend.  Caraway Conference Center has been confirmed as the host site for this event.  The theme is KNOWN.  The theme verse for the weekend is taken from Philemon 1:6: “And I pray that the sharing of your faith may become effective for the full knowledge of every good thing that is in us for the sake of Christ”

We want this to be a time of fellowship, worship and learning with leadership lessons that will empower your Ministries to lead with a Christ-like love.  Rev. Jim McCoy, pastor of First Baptist Weaverville will be our speaker.  

Arrangements for housing are now being worked out.  Further information is forthcoming and will be posted by early September. 

The annual Spring Leadership Conference is a special weekend designed for all college age students from both church and campus groups in North Carolina with a focus on leadership development. This fun and educational weekend provides opportunities for learning through leadership breakout sessions, chances to fellowship with people from across the state, engage in praise and worship, and just get away from the world for a few days.

The Spring Conference has a primary focus on leadership development.

As part of the weekend, state elections take place for the 2011-2012 leadership teams. The following positions are elected on this weekend:

×         Spring Conference Team Leader

×         Summer Missions Team Leader

×         Action on Issues Team Leader

×         Evangelism Team Leader

×         FC 12 Team Leader

×         Internationals Team Leader

       x     Prayer Team Leader
